Marc Alaimo Marc Alaimo is best known to Trek fans as the the sly smiling long-necked reptilian Cardassian Gul Dukat. Appearing in both Star Trek: The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine, Alaimo has established himself well in Star Trek lore. Alaimo is no stranger to science fiction, having appearred in Total Recall, and co-starred with a pre-Quark Armin Shimerman in the "Rocky in space" thriller, Arena.
