Rene Auberjonois: "Odo" of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
Rene Auberjonois is an award winning veteran of televison, motion pictures and the Broadway stage.
Now his familiar (or 'not so familiar') face has become a part of the Star Trek universe, as Security Chief Odo on Deep Space Nine.
Auberjonois made his Broadway debut in Coco, starring the legendary Katherine Hepburn; he garnered a Tony for his performance.
His distinguished stage career has also earned him Tony nominations for his work in Big River, The Good Doctor, and City of Angels.
His numerous film credits include Mash, Brewster McCloud, Star Trek VI, Police Academy Five, the Dino deLaurentis remake of King Kong, and Batman Forever.
Besides being seen on the screen, Auberjonois has been the voice behind many cartoon characters, including the French Chef in Disney's Little Mermaid, and Nefir in Aladdin (TV series).
His television career has been equally diverse. He earned Emmy nominations for roles in the ABC production of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, and for perhaps his most recognizable role, as the snooty Clayton Endicott III, on the long running comedy series Benson.
